RV at a campsite during a mobile repair visit

Mobile RV Service

Mobile RV Repair in Sarasota, FL

Most RV problems don't happen at a shop. They happen the night you set up camp, or the morning you're supposed to pull out. That's the call we built this business around.

Justin brings the tools, the meters and the common parts to your RV, figures out what's actually wrong, and tells you straight what it takes to fix it.

We come to you — campground, storage lot, driveway or dealership overflow.

About mobile rv repair in Sarasota

Rudy's RV Repair is a family-owned mobile shop working out of Sarasota. There's no drop-off, no two-week wait in a service lane, and no repair order that comes back with items you never asked for. We drive to where your RV is parked and do the work there.

We handle motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers and toy haulers. If it's an RV system — power, cooling, plumbing, roof, running gear or the everyday hardware that keeps the inside livable — it's the kind of work we do every week around Sarasota, Bradenton and Venice.

Diagnosis comes first. We'd rather spend twenty minutes finding the real fault than sell you a part that wasn't the problem. If a repair genuinely belongs in a shop with a lift or a paint booth, we'll tell you that too.

What's included

  • On-site diagnosis with real test equipment, not guesswork
  • A plain-English explanation of what failed and why
  • Repair on the spot when the parts are on the truck
  • Parts sourcing and a scheduled return visit when they aren't
  • Clean-up of the work area before we pull out
  • A straight answer if the job isn't worth doing

Common problems we fix

  • Something quit working and you can't tell where the fault starts
  • A leak you can see inside but can't trace outside
  • Power that works on shore but not on battery, or the other way around
  • Appliances that light, run for a minute and shut down
  • Damage found during a pre-trip walkaround the week before you leave
  • A dealer quote that felt high and you want a second opinion

Who it's for

  • Full-timers who can't afford to lose the rig for two weeks
  • Snowbirds set up in a park for the season
  • Weekend campers with a trip already on the calendar
  • Owners whose RV lives in a storage lot year-round
  • Renters and buyers who need something checked before money changes hands

Mobile RV Repair FAQs

Do I need to be there while you work?

For most jobs it helps to be there at the start so we can hear what you're seeing, but plenty of customers hand over access and go about their day.

Can you fix it the same visit?

Often, yes — the truck carries common parts. When something has to be ordered, we diagnose, quote it and come back once the part lands.

What does a visit cost?

The service call is $180 and labor is $200 per hour. A $20 deposit holds your appointment window.
